Cumali Bulduk, een Belgische muzikant van Turkse afkomst, begon op zijn negende zichzelf de saz aan te leren. Beïnvloed door de technieken van Arif Sağ en Erdal Erzincan ontwikkelde hij een unieke benadering van het instrument, waarin hij traditionele en vernieuwende methoden combineert. Sinds 2009 geeft hij les aan de André Souris Academie en in 2023 begon hij saz te doceren bij Muziekpublique. Door zijn internationale samenwerkingen heeft hij de technische en muzikale mogelijkheden van de saz verruimd en de traditionele speelstijl verder ontwikkeld.

Cumali Bulduk, musicien belge d’origine turque, a commencé à apprendre le saz en autodidacte à l’âge de neuf ans. Influencé par les techniques d’Arif Sağ et d’Erdal Erzincan, il a développé une approche unique de l’instrument, mêlant méthodes traditionnelles et innovantes. Depuis 2009, il enseigne à l’Académie André Souris et, en 2023, il a commencé à donner des cours de saz chez Muziekpublique. Ses collaborations internationales ont élargi les possibilités techniques et musicales du saz, contribuant à l’évolution de son idiome traditionnel.
